Providing Everything You Need
Individual counselling Adults
£50
Individual sessions are 50 minutes long and can be held face to face in our office at Easington Colliery but can also be held remotely via telephone or teams.
Children or young person counselling
£50
Children or young people counselling sessions are usually 45 minutes and can be held in person at our office in Easington, young people aged 12 and over can also access remote sessions via telephone or teams.
School Counselling
£200 per day
Safe Space counselling does offer a comprehensive counselling package within schools, which includes full assessment, liaison with parents and counselling sessions for 5 children a day. This can be for 1 day per week, or for a set period. Please call to discuss your schools’ requirements.
Neurodivergence pre- assessment
£150
This service is a 2-hour appointment in which we explore your child’s traits and the difficulties they are facing, regarding their possible neurodivergence. Safe Space Counselling will then submit a referral to CAHMS, send a referral request to the local GP and communicate with your chosen school about the reasonable adjustments that can be put in place to support your child.
Concessionary rates Varies.
If you do find that the services offered do not feel affordable, please reach out to discuss this with us. We can offer individual discounts based on personal circumstance. We also have some fantastic placement counsellors who can offer a free or low-cost service.
Supervision
£50
Supervision for counsellors is offered at safe space counselling, This can be in person at our offices based at Easington Colliery or online via teams. Supervision is charged at £50 per hour and we will tailor the length of supervision to your individual needs. Concession rates are available to those on low income or those who are studying to become a counsellor.
